Walking Group

Walking Group meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month, starting our walks usually at 1030a.m. We aim to walk about 5 miles finishing in time for lunch. Once a year we have a guided walk round one of the local towns, which we find very interesting. Our monthly walks are in various locations; suitable for the time of year e.g. we will do a town walk in January, if the weather is bad. The summer outing, usually up to the coast, is a great day out; we do a coastal walk followed by lunch. We are a friendly group, where the chat and laughs seem to be as important as the walking.
