Line Dancing Group
Our line dancing group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Members are asked to practice dance routines at home by following the steps on the internet. We then meet up in Swaffham’s Community Centre between 10.30 and 12.00 noon to go through the dances together. Members learn routines at a comfortable pace, gradually building up a repertoire of easy to moderate dances with a variety of music.
Members can take their own refreshments during a short break in the session. Dress is casual and any outfit that members feel comfortable in is OK. We usually have tea or coffee after the meeting. In the past we have dressed up appropriately and performed some of the dances locally to entertain the general public and promote the u3a.
Remember, you don’t stop dancing because you grow old – you grow old because you stop dancing!
